Tastes of
Anglia is an organisation supporting the food and drink industry in the six counties of
Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. It was formed
in 1992 to promote and raise awareness of the region's fine variety of food and drink.
The group
provides real commercial opportunities and marketing support to encourage progress, growth
and profitability which helps to support the economy of the sector.
Tastes of Anglia provides a service package of:
- Meet the Buyer events for producers to meet large and small buyers - e.g.
multiple retailers, independent stores, wholesalers and the food service sector.
- PR support - regular press releases to media contacts and organised features.
- Workshops and seminars for business development e.g. advice on quality assurance
schemes, exporting, marketing, pitching to buyers, etc.
- Attendance at food and drink events - exhibition at county shows and trade events.
- Invitation and involvement in Feast East - Tastes of Anglia's showcase event with over
5000 visitors (trade and consumer) over 3 days.
- Networking within the marketing group - interaction between businesses, wealth of
industry knowledge.
The Aim
To provide a vital link between producers of high quality food and drink, buyers
and the consumer. TOA helps to promote products and services to increase sales in
the eastern region and beyond.

The Tastes of Anglia Trading Company was formed in 1999 to provide additional
trading opportunities for its members and to further raise the profile of the group
and the membership in a wide cross-section of outlets who have recognised the importance
